A new endotracheal tube (ET) holder that comes individually packaged with a convenient checklist to assure a successful application has been introduced by Dale Medical Products, Inc. of Plainville, Massachusetts.
The DaleŽ StabilockT Endotracheal Tube Holder secures and stabilizes tubes 7 to 10mm following intubation to help prevent extubation, especially during patient transport. Featuring a booklet that includes a six-point illustrated checklist to assure a successful application, this disposable ET holder is supplied in individual easy-to-open packages that come 10 per box and conforms to the American Heart Association (ACLS) guidelines.
Designed for patient comfort and to give health care providers easy access for tube rotation and oral care, the DaleŽ StabilockT Endotracheal Tube Holder can remain in place for up to three days. Each package includes a new protective barrier wipe and skin-friendly, latex-free, breathable fabric base which securely holds a cushioned neckband using a VelcroŽ closure, and has a flexible tubing channel to protect the tube.
